'file:' and 'about:' URI schemes in Firefox
Recently I was looking for a possibility of activating the file: URI scheme in Firefox. This scheme works fine in IE but does not in Firefox for security reasons.

mozillazine.org describes a way to make this possible.

Then I felt like to get more informations about the about: scheme and found them in Wikipedia.

Java(TM) Puzzlers
Joshua Bloch is not really a junior. He wrote THE java programmer bible Effective Java Programming Language Guide. You can not really pretend to be a Java programmer before having read this book!

I just discovered that he also wrote another book called Java Puzzlers: "Every programming language has its quirks. This lively book reveals oddities of the Java programming language through entertaining and thought-provoking programming puzzles."

Probably the kind of stuff that only programmers can enjoy... :)

Ivan Smagghe
"Often referred to as God not only for his djing ability but his uncanny resemblance to the western depiction of Jesus Christ" as per Wikipedia. Anyway if you like real electronic music, you will like it. At samurai.fm you can enjoy an incredible mix of him. Tooooooooooooo short!

For who wants to have this mix on his iPod I publicized a mp3 that you can find here.

Les fantômes de la guerre civile
Tanja (ma femme) et moi avons passé quasi une année au Guatemala. Ce merveilleux pays a un lourd passé et n'a pas fini de compter ses morts. Voilà un article du Washington Post qui nous en dit plus:
