No more NoClassDefFoundError or ClassNotFoundException
While I was desperately looking for the source code of junit.framework.TestCase I found this interesting page. You can download over 3000 of Jar files. Additionally they offer an Eclipse and a Firefox plugin. This is what I call very useful.

Grace Hopper and the first computer bug
While Grace Hopper was working on a Mark II computer at Harvard University, her associates discovered a moth stuck in a relay and thereby impeding operation, whereupon she remarked that they were "debugging" the system. Though the term computer bug cannot be definitively attributed to Admiral Hopper, she did bring the term into popularity. The remains of the moth can be found in the group's log book at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. (see below).

livingroom.fm
Zürich has its rundfunk.fm and Basel livingroom.fm. Do not miss "la notte bianca" with Dorfmeister, Bradock, Dixon, Tiefschwarz, Ame, Joe90... on September the 16th at Acqua, Kuppel and Annex in Basel.

Coop Werbung
This morning I have found this coop advertisement. Not so common in the prudish Switzerland. If you do not know who is Rocco Siffredi, you may be living in a monastery or you had been very good all these years. Your last chance not to die stupid is here.

Mastering Entreprise JavaBeans
Since Friday I have a new job at GFT Technologies AG. They implement (innovative, they say) solutions. This is the first time I have to work with EJB. Good free books could be found at TheServerSide.com but you have to create an account (always the same story). Anyway very annoying. So I decided to put here the free books:
  1. Mastering Entreprise Java Beans (source code)
  2. EJB Design Patterns (source code)
Enjoy the freeness of Internet...
